St Ives

Located 18kms from the Sydney CBD, St Ives was first explored by Governor Arthur Phillip in 1788 on a scouting trip for farmland. Since its settlement, St Ives has become one of the Upper North Shore’s largest and commercial and recreational centres. St Ives Village has fast become a hub for the residents within the immediate suburbs providing major supermarkets, fashion boutiques, restaurants and cafes, the local library, community centre, skate park and tennis courts, not to mention the village green which hosts the annual fair.

With the Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden, Community nursery and the St Ives Showground located within the precinct there is always plenty on offer for families on weekends. The St Ives Showground hosts monthly markets, the annual St Ives Show and features varied facilities for weekend enthusiasts.
